What if I drop my phone and a stranger picks it up — can they use my card? – Aleta Planet

Your Aleta Adventure app is protected by your phone’s lock screen (PIN, Face ID, fingerprint) and additionally by the app’s own Payment PIN or Biometric authentication for all sensitive actions.

A stranger picking up your phone would need to bypass both your phone’s lock screen AND the app’s authentication to access your card details or make changes to your account.

As an immediate precaution if your phone is lost or stolen:
1.    Lock your card via http://member.aletaplanet.com/login from another device or computer (no app required).
2.    Email account@aletaplanet.com to report the situation.
3.    Consider remotely wiping your phone via Apple Find My (iOS) or Google Find My Device (Android).
