Can I remit to WeChat Pay (Weixin)?

1. Select Remit from the Home screen.
2. Select Weixin and review recipient requirements.
3. Enter the amount (minimum SGD/USD 50) and select or add a recipient.
4. Confirm details and authenticate with Payment PIN or Biometric ID.

Recipient requirements:

• They’ve signed up for a Weixin account (China mainland version).
• They hold a valid form of identification, such as:
• Mainland China Second Generation Resident Identity Card
• Mainland China Permanent Resident Identity Card
• Mainland Travel Permit or Residence Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents
• Passport (excluding passports issued by Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan)
• Have linked a Mainland China bank card to their Weixin account, or maintain a Weixin Balance.
• They’ve signed the kinship commitment letter (if they’re receiving money for Family Support reasons).

Existing recipients must verify their e-wallet password and authorize the transmission in the mini-program, before they continue to receive the remittance. Recipient must accept the transfer within 48 hours or it is cancelled.
