Does the card work if my phone battery dies? Can I still tap to pay?

Yes — your physical Aleta Adventure Visa card works independently of your phone. As long as the card is activated, you can tap it at any Visa contactless terminal or insert it at a card reader without needing your phone or the app to be open.

The app is only required for QR payments (PayNow / WeChat Pay), which need the phone camera and the app to generate or scan a QR code. For all other payments, the physical card is self-sufficient.
